Description

A Thwaites-tied pub in a traditional Yorkshire village of stone houses. The rural setting is complimented by a roaring fire in the bar area with several little rooms set off it. The fact it hasn’t been opened up means it retains some character, especially considering the array of nik-naks and ephemera they’ve collected. Try the snug or the public bar for the best atmosphere, while their food currently has a French slant. They also offer a bakery on weekends with a stall outside.
