Undeniably offering an A* view of Cologne cathedral from the window and the place is sympathetically decorated with antique and retro signage. This place is cavernous with a high ceiling but without the cathedral-like feel of some of the best huge beer halls. Therefore you may prefer to sit in the more pub-like space to the left of the entrance. A decent all-rounder and undeniably one of the main beer halls in the city. Perhaps not a top 5 but certainly a top 10 in that category. Given there are a lot that’s not bad at all.
