Description:
Operating since 1982, Frizzi E Lazzi offers a retro flavour of Navigli, with its basic, working class bar interior – patio furniture, TV in the corner, baby blue walls and simple bar, with a feeling of relevance, as it offers one of the best courtyards in the area which is very popular in summer.

Beer selection has been upgraded a touch, to the extent it almost feels like a beer hall when you wander out to the back yard.

Fair prices for drinks and their quickly thrown together sandwiches makes this a democratic option, and attracts the classic duo of stalwarts and youngsters, lending it a sociable, friendly and sometimes gregarious atmosphere (this is Italy, after all).

It is nice to go somewhere where everyone from the scruffiest layabout to the see-and-be-seen crowd is happy to go. The versatility is to its credit, while it will do well to avoid the tempatation to refurbish.

Bear in mind it is a late bar whose operating hours stretch from Aperitivo at 6.30 to 2am closing.

Definitely worth poking your head in.
