Choice/Quality of Drinks:
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Well put together versatile range covering wines, beers, mixers, and cocktails with one or two standouts. Gin selection is superior too.

Style/Décor:
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Converted courtyard with glasshouse roof, and climbing ivy surrounding it with greenery, a space furnished colourfully too. Inside there’s a stylish modern interior and a long room that is a little trapped as to whether it’s a space for late night dancing or afternoon lounging.

Atmosphere/Character:
❤️❤️❤️❤️
The courtyard is one of the best places to hang out in Milan on a balmy summer evening, while inside is a bit more hybrid having to straddle afternoon and evenings in a space that falls between houses.

Amenities/Events:
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Food, snacks, outdoor seating, music

Value For Money:
❤️❤️❤️
The going rate for the area, fairer when factoring in the Aperitivo.

Description:
Frida’s main attraction is a converted courtyard with glasshouse roof, a space furnished colourfully, which is an oasis during the summer months and an atmospheric spot during late evenings. There are a handful of such places around the city centre and they are sought after.

Milan is not the typical Italian tourist destination, putting it mildly, and so you’ll find a really good mixture of people here in comparison to the tourist influx you’d expect were this somewhere like District VII in Budapest.

Inside there’s a stylish interior and a long bar that is a little trapped as to whether it’s a space for late night dancing or afternoon lounging, ending up being a little bit of both, so probably not the main reason to visit.

Prices are mid to high level but you will find drinks accompanied by focaccia and/or popcorn which makes sense.

More ‘courtyard bar’ than ruin bar, but you can see why people draw the comparison.
