| Choice/ Quality of Drinks | ❤️❤️❤️ A familiar set of drinks from the mainstream, the best may be a couple of fridge options but otherwise expect the last 20 years of the craft scene to go underepresented. |
| Style/ Décor | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Interesting location in an old fort, a bunker location adds another element to the traditional basement venue. However, there is also a terrace popular in summer by a pond and park. |
| Atmosphere/ Character | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Due to its proximity to the train station there is always a hint of transient custom during the day before it livens up later on. With a roaring fire this place is a cosy winter bunker as well as a summer terrace, showing its versatility. |
| Amenities/ Events | ❤️❤️❤️ TV, outdoor seating, snacks |
| Value For Money | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Fair prices, not bad considering the plum location. |
| Description | Colomb fort was all destroyed in 1903 except for this bunker which has since been renovated and turned into a pub. The unusual shape of the building adds further to the brick basement bar atmosphere inside, which is improved with a roaring fireplace in winter months. Outside you’ll find a nice terrace close to the park and pond, the whole thing conveniently minutes away from the train station terminal. Drinks are middling but overall the place just – just – hits the mark. (Added April 2023) |
