Choice/ Quality of Drinks	❤️❤️❤️ Gambrinus, Pilsner Urquell and a basic, typical back bar for favoured central European spirits.
Style/ Décor	❤️❤️❤️❤️ Stables theme in a roadside pub. Cabin-like, the bar to the left and a lounge to the right. Locals table is nearest the bar. Simple, homely and rather out-of-time in style.
Atmosphere/ Character	❤️❤️❤️❤️ There are a cast of regulars but this is a sleepy spot outside of its very few peak times, with some transient custom due to its roadside situation.

Value For Money	❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Among the best value venues in the entirety of Prague.
Description	Not only at the end of the tram line, but 10 minutes walk up a dirt track – that kind of out-on-a-limb nature would have a certain allure if the pub wasn’t next to Karlovarska which at Bila Hora tram stop turns into one of the main roads into Prague. It is therefore an easy pub to reach. Don’t worry about how far away it looks on the map.  A somewhat frozen in time saloon awaits, with a traditional interior, wood-cabin type effect with a stables theme. The bar room is to your left as you enter, with the lounge to the right. You may find the bar area where the locals, the stamgasty, hangout. The pub offers simple, hearty cooking and cheap beer – we’re not meaning to undersell that, this is one of the cheapest pints in the city.  On our visit in October 2024 it was selling Pilsner Urquell for 45 crowns, virtually unheard of.  The old time aesthetic, cheap and cheerful function and sense of out-on-a-limb (even though it isn’t really) is enough of an ensemble to recommend it. Locals may be initially surprised to see you, but this is roadside and near Bila Hora, a major tourist attraction, so they are used to infrequent visitors. It’s a safe place to go. Arrived armed with a few Czech pleasantries though, to help smooth things along. (Added October 2024)
