Quality of Drinks
❤️❤️❤️❤️
A large back bar up a high ceiling indicates the breadth of drinks options available to you. Wine, vermouth and beer are the most common, all of which are serviceable, but the better of these is the wines and vermouth.
Style/
Décor
❤️❤️❤️❤️
An unassuming facade which still retains the appearance of a wine store rather than a bar, with boxes on display, enter to find these stacked up the walls along with the typical bodega barrels. An attractive bar is adjacent to the entrance in a small square room, to the outside of which tables are placed.
Atmosphere/
Character

The usual applies in respect of the history of the place.
Amenities/

❤️❤️
Snacks, basic tapas of good meat, cheese, olives and bread.
Value For Money❤️❤️❤️
Decent value for the area.
DescriptionLow-key, friendly and uninterested in the latest trends, this bodega is interested in making you feel at ease, pouring their home made vermouth and providing a base for socialising in a historic environment.

Many bodegas have lost the sense of the shop, their previous function, but this one still feels like you could imagine suppliers coming and going, the bar element placed over it yet not fully replacing it.

The drink can be enjoyed with classic Mediterranean platters of cured meat, cheese and olive with fresh bread.

This isn’t a show-stopper by comparison to others in terms of its visuals or late night atmosphere, but for authenticity and legitimacy, it ranks high up. (Added May 2024)
