Quality of Drinks
❤️❤️❤️
A broad rather than deep selection covering most bases. A few interesting liqueurs and a few Belgian beers on tap the standouts.

Décor
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Beautifully fit old bar with Nouveau styling carved into the wood fittings and frames. Retro posters, mirrors and fairylights.

Character

Ambience from the fairylights, interior and views of the church over the river, very pleasant indeed. A casual hangout with just a touch of style to avoid it veering completely into dive bar territory, but still pretty informal.

Darts, pinball, games, books, snacks
Value For Money❤️❤️❤️
Typical city centre prices with a good Happy Hour offering.
DescriptionAn atmospheric evening  café bar on Metz riverside with attractive views of the stunning Ile and church opposite. The bar benefits from preserved Art Nouveau wood fittings and big glass frontages to enjoy the view.

Inside, you’ll find that elegance tempered by what is a more fun-loving, informal operations. Here you can play darts and pinball, enjoy social events and relax – the format is down to earth rather than high society, for sure.

Given the central location it feels surprisingly neighbourly and lacking the sort of patrician feel central bars can develop – all in its favour.

Drinks selection is decent rather than spectacular, but happy hour prices are very handy – be careful to not knock back your 8% abv pint of Belgian beer too quickly.

A versatile, likeable spot that brings to mind fun with friends as well as drifty daydreaming and people watching.

Open late, this is often the last venue before bed.
