| Description | Rightly seen as one of the jewels in Bratislava old town, Čierny Pes/Black Dog is in demand during the evenings and feels like the place to be when you’ve been seated. Atmosphere is enhanced hugely by its slanted location with a step into a basement setting with dark wood tables and curved ceilings. The crowd are a 20s-40s post-grad set on a Friday night and the place manages to keep the tourist hordes at arms length out of season, all for the better. You’ll find a range of Bernard’s excellent beers with Slovak craft offerings from Wywar and a well-stocked café bar menu for alternatives.
