| Choice/ Quality of Drinks | ❤️❤️❤️ A not terrible selection, better than the environment may suggest, at least, with some Czech lager complimenting the typical Croatian caffe bar fare, a decent back bar too. |

| Atmosphere/ Character | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Truly local and way, way off the beaten path, here is where to go if you want an authentic experience. Regulars sit around exchanging banter with a young server, with a TV and music cutting in between the chatter. Totally unpretentious and surprisingly not overly hostile either. After a few seconds surprise life continues back to normal. |

| Description | Any venue in Croatia that pays attention to the finer aspects of a bar – the decor, the environment, while still retaining a degree of authenticity immediately stands out. It took a while of trawling to find this place and we’re glad we did. It isn’t so much about the wow factor but about the unusually rustic decor and completely unvarnished local life which may produce initial surprise at your arrival but is friendly and tolerant, aided by young staff that are unabashed. TV plays, music is on, smoking is raw and the atmosphere even mid afternoon rattles along at a reasonable lick while you pour your next Budvar. (Added April 2023) |
