| Choice/ Quality of Drinks | ❤️❤️❤️ Unexciting lager options with some middle bottle choices is augmented at least with a competent backbar and cocktail menu. |
| Style/ Décor | ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ A diminutive bar with a small space at the entrance with mezzanine and booth of old theatre seats. The design takes in eclecticism, shabby chic, funky, off-beat, all of that and is colourfully list – the overall impression is very positive. |
| Atmosphere/ Character | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ A characterful spot which is generated by its decor and the casual/informal atmosphere of ex-pats and Poles hanging out. The energy level is about right for early/mid-evening drinks. |
| Amenities/ Events | ❤️❤️❤️ Snacks, limited outdoor seating, games |
| Value For Money | ❤️❤️❤️ Happy hour deals are pretty decent, otherwise you’ll find city centre prices. |
| Description | A handy find, Café Szafa is removed from the heart of the old town action but on the map enough to attract a balance of locals, ex-pats and the odd tourist which gives it a good sense of vibrancy. Being Poland, the bar is executed with a typically eclectic range of antiques, salvage and quirky decorations, colourfully lit, giving it an offbeat, fun, but not arch or pretentious feel. With some happy hour deals worth noting and a generally friendly vibe, this is well worth adding to your roster, even if we wish the drinks selection could be brought up to date a little.
