❤️❤️❤️❤️
A broad selection with a surprising emphasis on cocktails, but fridge which includes several local craft beers from AltGust, an independent brewery. All café bar bases covered too.
Style/
Décor
❤️❤️❤️❤️
An ivy strewn old house with pleasant, funkily decorated garden. The Bohemian feel continues inside with antique furnishings, original fittings, ceramic heater, and warren of rooms.
Atmosphere/
Character
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Although a little twee and cafe-like in the day, overall the effect is strong, with shady corners and different spaces. A younger crowd, as can be expected, but post-grads too. It feels warm, homely and cosy, somewhere you would make a home from home.

Value For Money❤️❤️❤️
Fair value overall.
DescriptionMost cities in Romania seem to have a bar like this one – bohemian, ramshackle café full of antiques and old world charm. Here is Iasi’s, set just off the university campus, therefore popular with students as well as post-grads.

A beautiful old building plastered in climbing ivy with a funky courtyard and a few cats roaming around, as you step inside the usual tropes are there – the music instruments, books and board games, the old wood floor, the shady corners and lamps – it’s a place you could turn into a home from home. Warm, cosy and friendly. In the daytime it perhaps errs a little more towards cafe and bar, but a wide cocktail menu, local craft beers and evening schedule shows it is versatile and adaptable.

For all the city displays in terms of variety, there is nothing else like it in Iasi, and should be up near the top of your bars to visit in the city.
