| Description | Famous Bukowskis is never far away from the institution guide book recommendations, blogs or search engine optimised travel sites and newspaper articles, so don’t be surprised to see the tourist/ex-pat crowd on most of the tables. While the hype is certainly too big for the bar to ever justify, park the slightly underwhelming feeling aside and you can objectively see why people like the place. Clandestinely-lit, with friendly service and a buzz to the place that deserves acknowledging. Cocktails are good and the house beer is a good one too from Vinohradsky Pivovar, if a little higher priced than average. Overall, you should keep this venue up your sleeve if partying late night in Zizkov. If it’s too towny for you simply hop straight over the road for the opposite experience at Nad Viktorkou!
