| Description | A surprise find, sometimes we go to micropubs to kill time or to try some different beers but this pub offers far more than that. With its own beers delivered direct from casks hoisted behind the bar, a bottle shop and wonderfully well curated wood-fit room, there is plenty of natural ambience to the place that makes it a nice environment to be in. Old fashioned pub games and local life add to the mixture, this wasn’t just a case of exceeding modest expectations but trouncing them. A bona fide good pub. Be warned it is very small and opening hours variable, mainly early closing (Added August 2023) |
