| Description | One of at least 3 Cal Peps, be sure to distinguish between them before setting off for either! In Gràcia, you’ll find an old drinks focused bodega (Carrer de Verdi, 141). Cal Pep in Born is a famous seafood restaurant (Plaça de les Olles, 8). Here in Sants, this Bodegueta (small bodega) offers a revamped take on the traditional format, marrying tradition in appearance with relevant food and drinks. This is largely successful, an operation that you could find yourself going to a lot if you were lucky enough to live in the neighbourhood. We hope they will retain and perhaps even accentuate the original features and atmosphere more, as further modernising would not help it retain its character. (Added May 2024) |
