Quality of Drinks
⭐⭐⭐⭐
A well-covered range of drinks from cocktails to spirits and beers, without any specialism but all of a good standard. Beer range is supported by a fridge full of good regional German options.
Style/
Décor
⭐⭐⭐
A bit of an odd one, not necessarily in an effective way. The ceiling with some corrugated plastic is a bit distracting while the rest is quite effective. A corner bar with two main rooms, the second acting as a more loungey side. Upstairs is a games room with ping-pong.
Atmosphere/
Character
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Certainly a social hangout with an international flavour, English regularly heard and diverse faces. This goes easily with the environment, and you’ll find most here are on the younger side of the audience.
Amenities/
Events
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Table tennis, games, instruments, books, snacks
Value For Money
⭐⭐⭐
Nothing unusual for the area
Description
This corner bar is somewhat of an in-the-know place for Plovdiv, hardly a secret, but tucked a few streets along from the mainstream crowd. You have an interesting mix of ex-pats, misfits and cool sorts enjoying a somewhat bohemian if not totally successful bar. Oddities like an upstairs table tennis room and corrugated odd ceiling, with blackboard defaced with the latest stream of consciousness add to the vibe. Drinks are broad in range and very decent. It’s one to mark down for the city.
