❤️❤️❤️❤️
Tap options are middling, but a decent back bar and some superior Belgian bottles push it above the typical dive bar selection.
Style/Décor:
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
A characterful interior that has been beaten and bruised, hosting many nights of fun and revelry.
Anarchist posters, license plates, other acquired bric-a-brac, with a colourful lighting that plays off the old wood and signage cutely.
Terrace out front.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Terrific evening atmosphere. Arcade games, dancing, terrace lounging, philosophical discussions and anything else you can think of betwixt and between. One of Dijon’s most soulful establishments.

Outdoor seating, games, snacks.
Value For Money:
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great value for money both in general and during Happy Hour which is most welcome.
Description:
Named after the George Brassens song ‘La Vieux Leon’, lamenting the death of an uncelebrated but unique, individual artist. Here at this alternative later bar, they try to capture some of that maverick spirit. A youthful sprightliness sits alongside a characterful interior that has been beaten and bruised, hosting many nights of fun and revelry.
Anarchist posters, license plates, other acquired bric-a-brac, with a colourful lighting that plays off the old wood and signage cutely.
Known around the city for fair value, happy hour pints are cheap as chips, while it’s fairly priced at other hours too, including for a few superior Belgian beer bottles.
Manager Dom has overseen the operation for a few decades now, very much a background player to arcade games, dancing, terrace lounging, philosophical discussions and anything else you can think of betwixt and between.
One of Dijon’s most soulful establishments, and one of the best bars of its kind.
