Choice/
Quality of Drinks
⭐⭐⭐⭐

Normally several cask ales on with a large selection of Belgian and German beers in the fridge. Otherwise typical back bar.

Style/
Décor
⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bright red hoardings with terrace out the front. Inside, multiroom with upholstered seating in familiar London fashion and a continuation of the red paint. A side room with rickety furniture, and walls decorated with breweriana, local history and ephemera including the strange cabinet by the entrance.

Atmosphere/
Character
⭐⭐⭐⭐

The character you’d expect from a pub that’s got a little bit more going on with it than most. Dusky during the day and brilliant in the evening.

Amenities/
Events
⭐⭐⭐⭐

Meals, outdoor seating, quiz, snacks, bar billiards

Value For Money
⭐⭐⭐

Fair value for London, albeit this venue is further out than some.

Description
Award winning London pub that is well-known and well-loved. Distinctive red signage and a similarly distinctive interior give the place a lot of character. This is supported by a raft of community of events, good quality cask ales, large bottle selection, billiards and reasonably priced pub meals. One to seek out.
